Lv Hongwei is a soloist of The Chinese Armed Police Force (CAPF) Political Work Department Song and Dance Troupe. He successively won the third prize (folk style singing) of the "I Love You China" National Singers' Competition, the first prize (folk style singing) of the "New Singers and New Works" National Vocal Music Competition sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the excellence prize (folk style singing, professional group) of the 11^th CCTV Young Singers Grand Prix and the bronze prize of the China Golden Bell Award.
