Dean encouraged the students to "make persistent efforts to achieve greater success" at the scene
"I sincerely hope that students can be adept in learning, dare to accept new knowledge, and effectively improve the known things while understanding the unknown things," said Yu Junjian, a famous singer and the Dean of the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts, when he delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Senior Seminar held at 10: 00 a.m., placing high hopes on all the students. He proposed that the previous two sessions of the Yu Junjian National Vocal Music Senior Seminar (hereinafter referred to as the "Senior Seminar") trained 5 students who won the Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music, expecting that this session of students could make persistent efforts to create more outstanding achievements. Meanwhile, YU Junjian entrusted the students to practice three requirements, "To pursue the artistic spirit and comprehend the realm of the artistic spirit to continuously improve personal artistic accomplishment; to improve the humanistic quality and enhance personal humane accomplishment, and stick to the position of Chinese culture and show Chinese cultural aesthetics; to cultivate the spirit of benevolence. Since art is the emotional carrier of human beings and one of the ways for human beings to know themselves, every student should be full of humanistic feelings and adhere to the benevolence-oriented principle when treating themselves and others."
"We warmly welcome students from all corners of the country to the beautiful Phoenix Mountain Campus to jointly discuss and learn the art of national vocal music. The Senior Seminar has gathered a group of excellent teachers, achieving fruitful results. Each of us has our dreams, and we will encounter all kinds of confusion and utter bafflement in the process of realizing our dreams. For this reason, I sincerely hope that our Senior Seminar can lead the students out of their confusion and solve their bafflement. Also, I wish you a happy study, "LV Hongwei said.
The students are full of expectations and believe that they will be able to "learn something"
The cultivation mode of "small batch" and "high level" is beneficial for students to create more brilliance
"As a professional national vocal singer, what I need is continuous self-growth. At exactly this moment, we possess this precious opportunity to study in the Senior Seminar, which endows us with a platform to think, study and seek self-improvement. Consequently, we must cherish and seize this opportunity to exchange experiences and improve ourselves." Specifically, the first stage is the comprehensive training related to vocal singing and performance technology for more than 10 days, which covers no less than 8 open classes of tutors and two one-to-one vocal lessons for each student, while the second stage is the centralized teaching of YU Junjian in Beijing Vocal Music Class, to authentically realize the talent cultivation following students' aptitude and the practical improvement of students' professional competence based on highlighting features, thereby achieving the small-batch and high-level cultivation of students." In an interview with the reporter, YU Junjian said that the Senior Seminar students included the winners of the 13th Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music and those who have participated in the study for three consecutive years.
