On the morning of June 18, 2025, Chengdu University held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 in the university stadium, with international student representatives participating through the coordination of the International Department. The celebration continued that afternoon with a dedicated graduation event organized by the International Department.

On the stage of the graduation ceremony, a video titled Youth Says Never Goodbye played on the big screen. This short film, co-starred by our college's Colombian graduate JONATHAN VELÁSQUEZ YEPES and Chinese students, beautifully narrates the growth moments of Chengdu University students, conveying boundless blessings for the graduates as they embark on their journeys to pursue dreams.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President Zhu Ming delivered the graduation speech, mentioning that the experience of Chinese and international student volunteers serving the Universiade has become an unforgettable shared memory. Vice President Cheng Wei announced the decision to confer master's degrees to the Class of 2025, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee Member and Vice President Liu Ya announced the decision to confer bachelor's degrees to the Class of 2024.
Our college's Nepalese graduate NITESH MAHARJAN, Indonesian graduates MYRA SABELLA and ALEESIA JACQUETTA MAWARDI, and Malaysian graduate TAN XIN PING represented the international graduates on stage. University leaders turned the tassels for the graduate representatives, presented them with degree certificates, and took group photos. Our college's Malaysian graduate LEE XIN XUAN, representing the alumni liaison appointees, came on stage to receive the letter of appointment and wear the graduation commemorative sash.

At 5:00 PM, the graduation event commenced at the International Department. On the first floor of Building G, a dedicated area featured a name wall composed of all the Class of 2025 graduates, a story collection, a signature wall, life-size standees of the graduating class head teachers, and a variety of photo prop boards. During the first part, titled "Relive My University Days: Our Graduation Mission," graduates embarked on an immersive task-based journey that simulated the entire university experience—from matriculation and academic life to campus activities and graduation. Procedures that once seemed like "challenges"—such as checking into accommodation, applying for residence permits, and moving into dorm rooms—along with the story collection displayed along the corridor, brought these memories flooding back to the now-gowned graduates years later.

During the second part, "Graduation Gala," faculty and students from each graduating class took turns on stage, presenting a series of captivating performances for the audience. The acts ranged from group choruses and solo guitar pieces to traditional folk songs and dances, and even classical-jazz fusion arrangements. One performance after another resonated deeply with the audience, earning rounds of applause. Meanwhile, the graduates expressed their heartfelt wishes for their school and teachers through self-written and self-directed short videos. Finally, the event reached its emotional peak as all faculty members of the International Department gathered to sing the classic farewell song "Song Bie." As the melody filled the room, students raised their star-shaped LED lights, creating an unforgettable climax to the evening.

In 2025, the graduating Class of 2025 bid farewell to No. 2025, Chengluo Avenue. May they embark on new journeys across mountains and oceans, and set sail toward bright futures! We wish all the 2025 graduates perseverance and excellence as they venture to every corner of the world!
