Jaime Macias from Mexicoperformed Kreisler’s Variation on a Theme by Corelli. Prof. Frischenschlager stated that this piece was one of Kreisler’s Baroque style composition, and students can learn a lot of the technique and musicality in performance. Professor think that a good violinist’s score must be full of notes and markings. This shows his understanding of the music and to make sure that he will not forget any markings of his own.

Lastly was Maj Jurisevic from Slovenia, performed Violin Concerto No.3 in G Major by Mozart. Prof. Frischenschlager asked: “What was the most important thing in Mozart’s music?” Maj answered: “Sound”. The professor agreed and explained on the uniqueness of Mozart’s music. Since Mozart was an opera composer, his music will always consist of speaking and singing lines, which imply the importance of articulation in the music.
