On the evening of October 15, the first concert was held at the Concert Hall of Chengdu ASEAN Art Center. Themed on "Inheriting the National Crafts · Innovating the Art of the Era," the concert was sponsored by the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts and organized by the School of Fine Arts and Design and the School of Music and Dance.

There are 12 repertoires in the entire concert, all performed by teachers and students of the School of Music and Dance. The concert kicked off with the folk music ensemble playing My Motherland and I. Spring Breeze Waltz was played out with a deft coloratura and reverberant melodies evoking the springtime spirit; Foreign expert Patrick Lehner performed the piano solo Chopin-Polonaise "Heroique". Also performed onstage are Love Her, Miss Her, and Bless Her, which conjures up the strong family and national sentiments, Waves Washing Sand with the music elements of Sichuan Yangqin, and the original song A Glimpse of the South Lake, the instrumental duo Seaside Poem, Dance of Youth, which extols the beauty of youth, The Brightest Flame, The Eyes of the Stars, Jiu Er, and Ussuri Boat Songs. The school's professors and students performed numerous beautiful and popular pieces of music, eliciting strong emotions from the audience and earning them fervent applause.

It is the first performance of the Concert Hall of Chengdu ASEAN Art Center. Teachers and students from the School of Music and Dance presented a high-level show to the audience and a fabulous gift for the opening night of the Concert Hall of Chengdu ASEAN Art Center. As a vital base for the art practice of teachers and students of the School of Music and Dance, the Concert Hall of Chengdu ASEAN Art Center  will host regular concerts to continuously enhance the art practice of teachers and students and bolster the overall artistic atmosphere.
