On August 7th at 20:00, the 12th World Games 2025 opened in Chengdu. For the Games, four international students from our college participated as event volunteers. After two weeks of intensive training, they have now entered the World Games Village (Zone B) and are stationed at their respective posts, contributing their skills and enthusiasm to ensure the smooth operation of the event.

As a volunteer for the 2025 World Games, I felt a deep sense of responsibility. During the event, we arrived early at our posts to carefully check the weighing equipment, ensuring every device was accurate—this was crucial for maintaining fair competition. When athletes entered the weighing center with nervousness and anticipation, I would immediately greet them with a smile and use fluent English to explain the process, helping ease their tension. Throughout the weighing, I paid close attention to every detail, meticulously recorded data, and coordinated closely with other volunteers and staff to keep the process efficient. After completion, I also provided directions for the athletes' subsequent schedules. Though not the main actors on the field, we dedicated our passion and professionalism in this compact weighing area to contribute to the smooth operation of the Games, showcasing the spirit of international student volunteers to the world.

The 2025 World Games, here I come! I am an international volunteer from Malaysia. As a competition service volunteer, I am thrilled to assist athletes from various countries at my post, helping them successfully complete their competition meetings and weigh-ins. Every athlete who steps onto the field deserves the most thoughtful support. I will give my all—providing careful attention, active assistance, and sincere smiles—to support them at every step and witness their moments of glory!

As one of young volunteers, I provide not just warm meals, but also care from your host. From keeping food warm and catering to different tastes, to quick distribution and thoughtful check-ins, we put our hearts into every step. We hope athletes can feel a "taste of home" beyond the competition, and friends from around the world can experience Chengdu's warmth here. The trays carry our responsibility; what we hand out is our warmth. With attentiveness and hard work, we bring to the World Games a service that warms not only the stomach—but also the heart.

I am immensely proud to represent Indonesia as one of the Chengdu World Games' volunteers, welcoming athletes from around the world with the energy of youth. I am committed to providing service that is not only professional, but also filled with warmth and smiles — making every friend who comes here feel the comfort of home and the friendship of the world. Youth knows no fear, and service has my all. For we are not only volunteers; we are also the brightest part of this great event!

The World Games have now begun, and the four international young volunteers are shining brightly across the World Games Village. Together with all volunteers, they are using their professionalism to support the event and their warmth to share Chengdu's hospitality. With the energy of youth and their smiles, they will deliver Chengdu's sincere greetings to the world, while also sharing their love for Chinese culture and their connection to this land with athletes from every nation.
