Last night, the 12th World Games 2025 Chengdu (hereafter "Chengdu World Games") successfully closed. That same evening, the CCTV news program "24 Hours" told the story of Ong Xin Ning, a Malaysian student at Chengdu University, and her time with Chengdu World Games. The report was called "Ong Xin Ning, an international young volunteer, and Her Day-to-Day World Games Diary."

Ong Xin Ning is a Malaysian international student at the International Department, majoring in Radio and Television Editing (Class of 2023). During the World Games, she served as the 44th torchbearer. She received the symbolic torch of peace and friendship from Zhao Hailing, a National Rural Youth Leader in Prosperity, and passed it on to Tang Guoliang, the provincial representative inheritor of Sichuan Northern Puppetry.

As a competition service volunteer, she assisted athletes from various countries at her post, helping them successfully complete competition meetings and weigh-ins. She said: "I hope to use my camera as a torch — to convey warmth and hospitality while serving guests from around the world, and to pass the flame of China's stories onward to the globe."
