Chengdu is steeped in the rich charm of autumn, and the cultural context runs through ancient and modern times. Recently, during the 2025 3rd Chengdu International Literature Week themed "Inheriting the Cultural Rhythm of Tianfu and Blooming the Beauty of Chengdu", international students from College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts took art as a medium and literature as a bridge to make friends. They participated in the opening ceremony and a series of activities through diverse forms, writing a youth chapter of civilizational mutual learning in cross-cultural exchanges.
On November 5th, at the opening ceremony of Literature Week held by the Yanhuachi Pool in Chongzhou, Chengdu, international students from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and other countries took the stage to perform. They presented characteristic singing and dancing with full enthusiasm, and their vivid performances were highly consistent with the event concept of "Literature + Art". This injected youthful vitality into the grand gathering of renowned literary figures from home and abroad, allowing international perspectives and Tianfu cultural heritage to collide and integrate here.

On November 8th, the series activities of Literature Week walked into two major cultural landmarks: Wuhou Shrine and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. International student representatives from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries wandered around Wuhou Shrine and visited Du Fu Thatched Cottage together, touching the historical context among the blue bricks and black tiles, and feeling the "Thatched Cottage Complex" of the "Poet Sage" and the profound heritage of the Three Kingdoms culture in the poetic and artistic conception. Subsequently, at Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which carries the spirit of Chinese classical poetry, a cross-border poetry dialogue was staged warmly: international students from Vietnam and Malaysia, dressed in their national characteristic costumes, recited classic poems by renowned Tang Dynasty poets such as Du Fu, Lu You and Meng Jiao with clear and accurate Chinese and deep affection. Between the clear and precise Chinese recitations, they conveyed their love and understanding of traditional Chinese culture.

The participation of international students in the Chengdu International Literature Week has not only built an international communication bridge for excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also added diverse vitality to Chengdu's construction of a world-famous cultural and tourism city, and has become a vivid practice of the International Department in deeply serving Chengdu's local internationalization drive. The International Department of College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts will continue to take talent cultivation as a link, build a platform for exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth, enable international students to become vivid carriers of cross-cultural communication, help Chengdu gather global cultural resources and enhance its international voice, promote the further manifestation of the city's open and inclusive cultural temperament, allow more Chinese and foreign youth to meet in literature and know each other through exchanges, and let the cultural charm of Tianfu radiate new vitality in cross-cultural communication.
