Vienna, the cradle of European classical music, is renowned worldwide for its rich and profound musical heritage. Masters such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and the Strauss family once lived here, composing timeless masterpieces that continue to resonate across the globe.

Culture connects hearts, and art bridges worlds. Through the *2024 Chengdu-European Culture Season*, the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts joins hands with the Vienna Soloists Chamber Orchestra to create a splendid artistic chapter. Guided by the power of music, the orchestra will share their performance expertise with our faculty and students, blending Eastern and Western repertoires to deliver a vibrant interpretation of musical artistry on stage.

On April 26, 2024, this ensemble of seven virtuoso musicians will take the stage at the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts, presenting seven masterclasses and one enchanting concert. Featuring six instruments—violin, viola, cello, double bass, clarinet, and piano—the performers will bring Vienna’s classical charm to life, inviting the audience to experience the elegance and passion of their artistry.
