When Beethoven's symphonies meet the soul of the Blues,

the violin bow gives chase across the strings,
weaving threads from classical to jazz —
a musical journey, a whisper across time.

Isaac Ormaza Vera

Ecuadorian Conductor and Violinist; International Violin Faculty, College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Violin Performance under Elisa Kawaguti and Wim de Moor at LUCA School of Arts, Belgium, and pursued a Doctorate in Orchestral Conducting at the University of South Carolina. Awarded in the 2021 Los Angeles Conducting Workshop and Competition, he previously served as Assistant Conductor of the University of South Carolina Symphony Orchestra and has conducted renowned orchestras including the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra, Xi’an Symphony Orchestra, Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra, and Ecuador National Symphony Orchestra.

 

Aarón Ormaza Vera

Ecuadorian Pianist based in the Netherlands; currently serves as Artistic Coordinator for the Vocal and Orchestral Departments at Maastricht Conservatory and Codarts Rotterdam, while maintaining an active career as soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist. He holds a Master’s from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (studying with Frank van de Laar) and two Bachelor’s degrees, supported by scholarships including the Jacques Fonk Foundation and guidance from Jan Wijn among other distinguished musicians. Prize winner of four international competitions including the 2025 Emmanuil Duhlar International Piano Competition in Belgium, he has performed in major Dutch venues such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and across Ecuador, collaborating with Ecuadorian orchestras in piano concertos by Haydn, Beethoven, and others.

Venue Guidelines

  1. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the performance. To avoid delays, we recommend not bringing bags or large items. A cloakroom is available for small bags. Dangerous items, snacks, and beverages are not permitted in the hall.

  2. Seating is by ticket only. Please do not change seats. Present your ticket for entry.

  3. For the comfort of all attendees, children under 7 will not be admitted.

  4. Please silence all mobile devices. Flash photography is prohibited. If you must use your phone, dim the screen brightness.

  5. Professional photo or video equipment is not allowed.

  6. Latecomers will be admitted during breaks between pieces, at the staff’s discretion.

  7. Please remain seated during the performance. If you must exit, kindly do so between pieces or during intermission.
